We do NOT:

4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage Only
All data accessed by Gfetch is stored exclusively on your local device in the following formats:
- Raw emails (.eml files)
- Cleaned emails (.txt files)
- Attachments (original formats)
- OAuth tokens (JSON format)
4.2 No Cloud Storage
Gfetch does not transmit, upload, or store any of your data on cloud servers or external systems.
4.3 Security Measures
- OAuth tokens are stored in a separate file with restricted permissions
- The Application uses Google's secure OAuth 2.0 flow for authentication
- All data transmission occurs directly between your device and Google's servers using HTTPS
5. Data Retention
- Downloaded emails: Retained on your device until you manually delete them
- OAuth tokens: Retained until you revoke access or delete the token file
- No server retention: Since we don't use servers, we don't retain any of your data
6. Your Rights and Controls
You have complete control over your data:
6.1 Access Control
- You choose which email addresses to download emails from
- You can stop the download process at any time
6.2 Data Deletion
- Delete downloaded emails using the Application's delete function
- Remove OAuth tokens by deleting the token.json file
- Revoke access through your Google Account settings
6.3 Data Portability
- All downloaded emails are in standard formats (.eml, .txt)
- You can move, copy, or transfer files as needed
7. Google API Services Compliance
Gfetch's use of Google API Services complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7.1 Limited Use Disclosure
Gfetch's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Gmail data to provide the email download functionality you've requested.
7.2 Scope of Access
Gfetch only requests read-only access to Gmail (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly
) and cannot modify or delete your emails on Gmail servers.

Gfetch uses:

No other third-party services are used.

Gfetch is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
